PROJECT SUMMARY
When I first met with DropTrip, the company had serious problem on their hands. The tech start-up was working on something big, but had no way to clearly articulate their concept to the world.
What's more, they had yet to overcome the biggest hurdle every start-up faces—budget.
I worked directly with DropTrip Marketing Director, Nathan Williams, to develop conceptual for a brand film that could tackle both problems simultaneously.
Starting with an idea that could fully convey the complex nature of their offering, we worked together to use the resources both parties had at hand in effort to greatly reduce costs without taking a major hit to production value.
Through the use of strategic creative, talented local freelancers, and the stunning local landscape, we were able to conceptualize, produce and execute the project at 1/5th the initial estimated cost of production.
“Justin’s eye for motion as a compelling part of the story can’t be overemphasized. In addition, he quickly grasped the project we envisioned and developed a compelling story that was more comprehensive than we originally suggested, and we got it all done on time and on budget. ”
DropTrip is a software service company that connects communities by providing a marketplace that which travelers to rent their unused vehicle space to businesses and people who have items in need of shipping.

“I worked with Justin on the video commercial he shot and produced for us. He was awesome through the entire process—great to work with and strategize with on every technical and creative aspect of the project. His eye for detail, total mastery of his craft, and willingness to take chances to get the right shot helped our video become exactly what we wanted. Stellar experience. I hope to work with him again in the future!”
